Located on a 60-acre certified organic farm in Vancouver’s Point Grey neighbourhood, the UBC Farm Market hosts a farm gate market on Tuesdays and a multi-vendor market on Saturdays. These markets aim to explore and exemplify healthy and sustainable food systems by hosting season markets that support the local food economy and increase food sustainability literacy.
In addition to farm-fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers and eggs from the UBC Farm, the Saturday Market features a variety of other vendors selling produce, local meats, baked goods, mushrooms, crafts, hot meals, sweet treats and prepared foods while musicians entertain the crowd.
Throughout the season, special market events and activities like u-pick for blueberries, pumpkins and hops are scheduled alongside our markets. Free tours of the Farm leave from the market every Saturday at 11:00AM.
Markets are easily accessible by transit, bike, foot, or car and free 2-hour parking is available; more information about getting to the Farm can be found here.
